The solution: “LifeDoor” transforming an everyday object—the humble door—into a life-saving emergency tool. By redesigning a familiar “way out” to also function as a way out of danger during a flood, the concept reframes domestic safety through culturally rooted design thinking. Using responsibly sourced Filipino materials and minimal manufacturing impact, LifeDoor serves as both a practical innovation and a symbolic reminder that preparedness can be seamlessly integrated into ordinary spaces.
